What To Expect

At Calvary Baptist, you’ll find a welcoming community, Christ-centered worship, and practical teaching rooted in God’s Word. Our services are casual, uplifting, and centered on Jesus. From the moment you walk through the doors, our goal is to make you feel at home and help you take your next step — whether that’s connecting with others, joining a group, or simply exploring faith at your own pace.

We believe church is more than just a Sunday experience — it’s about growing together in community. One of the best ways to do that is by joining a Life Group. These small groups meet throughout the week for Bible study, prayer, and friendship. Whether you’re single, married, a student, or raising kids, there’s a group where you can belong and grow.
When you arrive, just let one of our greeting team members know you’re looking to find a group that fits your schedule or your family’s — they’ll be happy to help you get plugged in! We offer a variety of groups for preschoolers, kids, teenagers, adults, married couples, and more. Our greeters wear name tags and are stationed near the doors — they’d love to meet you and help you find your best fit.

Connection Groups

At Calvary, we believe community is key to spiritual growth. Here are some of the adult groups you can connect with:

Women's Group

Led by Michelle, our Women’s Group meets every Wednesday for dinner, fellowship, and a discussion of God’s Word. It’s a great opportunity for women to connect, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships.

Home Groups

Hosted by families in the church, including the Mapes, Pastor Tony, and the O’Connors. These groups meet throughout the week and weekends, offering a space for adults and married couples to grow in faith together.

Carpenters for Christ

Carpenters for Christ is a service-based group that meets on the second Saturday of each month to complete hands-on projects in the community. While it’s hosted by another local church, we proudly partner with them to serve others and be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways.

Prayer Service

Led by Pastor Tony, our Prayer Services take place Sundays at 6 PM at the church. We join together in prayer, worship, and walk through the current Bible study series our church is doing. It’s a meaningful way to end the week in unity and spiritual focus.

Kid's & Students

We believe church should be a place your entire family looks forward to each week! Our team is passionate about creating safe, engaging spaces where kids and students can learn about Jesus and build lasting friendships.

Pre Kidz (2-5 year old's)

Our Preschoolers enjoy a mix of playtime, worship songs, Bible lessons, crafts, and allergy-friendly snacks—all in a safe, nurturing environment designed just for them.

Kid'z Connection (1st-5th grade)

Elementary-aged kids dive into fun, interactive Bible lessons paired with worship, activities, snacks, and free play. It's a place where learning about Jesus is exciting and friendships grow.

LIFT Youth

Lift Youth is led by the Strong family and meets on Sunday mornings during service and again on Sunday evenings for group time. It’s a space where students can grow in their faith, build friendships, and feel supported.
