From Groaning To Glory

Apr 12, 2026    Tony Stephens

Why does life feel so heavy?

In Romans 8:18–30, the Apostle Paul reveals that the suffering we experience is not meaningless—it is part of a greater story. What feels like the groaning of a broken world is actually the birth-pain of a coming glory. From creation’s longing, to the believer’s waiting, to the Spirit’s intercession, and finally to God’s sovereign purpose, this passage shows us that God is at work in every moment.

This message explores how our present struggles point to a future glory, how the Holy Spirit meets us in our weakness, and how God is working all things together for our good.
