More Than A Building
What does it really mean to be the church?
For many of us, the word “church” immediately brings to mind a building, a Sunday morning service, or a place we go each week. But in Romans 12:4–5, Paul gives us a much bigger picture.
The church isn't a building we attend. The church is the body of Christ—and every believer has a place in that body.
In Week 1 of our series “The Church: Defined,” Pastor Tony Stephens explores what it means to live as the church God intended us to be.
In this message:
• We Are One Body
• We Belong to One Another
• The Church Goes Wherever We Go
We weren't saved simply to sit in a service. We were brought into a body where we serve one another, carry one another's burdens, pursue Christ together, and represent Jesus wherever God has placed us.
The building stays here.
The church leaves.
And when we walk out the doors, the church isn't ending—the church is being sent.
