The God of Hope
Romans 15:13 (CSB)

Big Idea
Because God is the source of our hope, believers can live with joy, peace, and confidence regardless of their circumstances.

1. The Source of Our Hope
Romans 15:13a
"Now may the God of hope..."
Key Thought:
Our hope is secure because its source is eternal.

2. The Experience of Hope
Romans 15:13b
"fill you with all joy and peace..."
Key Thought:
Hope changes how we experience the present because it changes how we view the future.

3. The Means of Hope
Romans 15:13c
"as you believe..."
Key Thought:
Hope grows where faith is exercised.

4. The Overflow of Hope
Romans 15:13d
"so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Key Thought:
God never intended hope to stop with us. He intends it to overflow through us.
