Esther 5–7

Big Idea

God is always at work, even when His timing is different from ours.



I. Faith Doesn't Rush Ahead of God

Esther 5:1–8

- Esther courageously entered the king's presence.
- Instead of forcing the moment, she patiently waited.
- Faith trusts God's timing as much as God's direction.

Key Truth:

Obedience means trusting God with both the step we take and the timing we cannot control.

II. God Is Working While We Are Waiting

Esther 5:9–6:14

- Haman's pride blinded him to what God was doing.
- A sleepless night became the turning point in the story.
- God's providence is often seen in ordinary circumstances.

Key Truth:

While we are waiting, God is always working.

III. God Is Never Late

Esther 7:1–10

- Esther courageously spoke the truth.
- Haman's plans were turned against him.
- God's justice arrived at exactly the right time.

Key Truth:

God's delays are never God's absence.
